Beautiful and functional April 14, 2009 T. Lower 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
We have been on a pizza kick lately and I got tired of finding ways to get my pizza's from the counter to the stone. This peel is not only gorgeous to look at but it works too.
Make sure to put cornmeal on the peel and don't make your pizza on it too far in advance of putting it in the oven. Other than that it will slide off just fine.
great peel! January 14, 2007 Sandi Miller (Mesa, AZ USA) 16 out of 19 found this review helpful
This is a very good looking peel. Light-weight, but sturdy and easy to use. Just the right size. I would buy this item again.
Not only the prettiest pizza peel we've owned, it functions perfectly to take pizza or dough from counter to stove or grill January 26, 2010 A. Chandler (Austin, TX) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We love doing pizza and breads in the oven and on the grill but it's not easy to transfer a pizza to a hot pizza stone without a peel. Wood peels always work better than metal ones and I just prefer them personally. But I hadn't had one that was both pretty and very functional as well before now.
Simply dust with some cornmeal and your pizza will slide ride off either onto a pizza stone or to an oven rack. Putting your pizza stone on your grill will give it true brick oven taste and the amazing grill flavor and this makes it simple to remove from the pizza stone in the grill.
But even if you never grill or make your own dough, you'll remove a whole pie--even if it's store bought--from your oven easily.
In addition to that, it's pretty enough to serve things on at a party if desired.

Being a little OCD we looked at every pizza peel in Amazon before buying this one as our first peel and....we love it!! No complaints. It looks great and with a little cornmeal or polenta the pizza slides on and off with no problem. We just serve the pizza on the peel and it looks great. Very satisfied.
good peel September 8, 2008 L. Fountain (College Park, MD United States) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Works well; I was worried that wood wouldn't work as well as stainless steel but it does and is beautiful to boot.
